How do you plan on using Text To Speech software in your business?

Please share your use case with us... it is fascinating how everyone uses the same technology in such diverse ways.

Check it out yourself here... https://go.saasrevu.com/blakify
Check out the alternative Talkia... https://go.saasrevu.com/talkia (made by the same company that makes Doodly and Toonly)

In this video we are looking at Blakify. It is a simple Text To Speech (TTS) SaaS Software solution competing against and being an alternative to the likes of Speechelo, Talkia, Textalky, Awedio, Speechify, Play.ht, Updigital, Talking.network, Vovo, Listnr, Voicely, Talklio, Get Voice Artist, Speechify and more.

So which Text to Speech (TTS) software is the best? I do not know. But here is one option available the little known Blakify!

It uses basically the same Text to Speech (TTS) engines that are in all the other tools. Namely those from Google TTS, Amazon Polly and Microsoft Azure. So what sets Blakify apart?

It has the same character limit on a voice over as the Enterprise Talkia but is limited to 1 million total characters each month. Talkia is unlimited. It also does not have the advanced audio editing available on Talkia. It is missing the automated translation which is found in Speechelo and doesn't have a browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc) which is in Speechify.

It doesn't have custom voices like in Vovo nor can you embed like with Listnr. It doesn't integrate with royalty free images so you can make simple videos like Awedio.

So why use Blakify? It is a simple Text To Speech tool that gets the job done.

They do have plans to develop the tool further and will eventually have some of these other features if you check out their roadmap - https://trello.com/b/VgO6Xh9c/blakify

They plan on having a plugin or a way to embed audio on your website. They also have the ability to add music in the background. There is an auto merge function that enables you to take the small Text To Speech (TTS) outputs and join them together in a single file. It also has a document to speech feature. However, I have not had great success with this function.

Overall, it is okay. It does the job and, for many people, that is the most important thing. They do not need any of the extra features and like a clean and simple user interface.

The tool is silly simple. Which is great. You copy or write in your text and press a button and it does it's thing and before you know it you have your text turned in to a speaking voice.

Pros -
1. Simple to use
2. Background music
3. Merge audio files
4. Project folders for managing audio files
5. Affordable entry plan
6. User community group
7. Public roadmap

Cons -
1. Can not embed on your website (as of the time of making this video)
2. It does not do automatic translation
3. It does not automate splitting and merging of text
4. Document to audio is messy and doesn't automatically merge the output
5. It can not accept URL as input
6. It does not make simple videos
7. The roadmap and ability to provide feedback is not within the tool itself
8. It doesn't have an extension to listen to blog or website as you browse them
9. You can not create custom voices
