Chestnut trees orchard delayed graft incompatibility Eaton variety nut

Getting ready to remove a dying Chinese Chestnut tree. The variety is Eaton, which is a complex hybrid and is more picky about root stock used to graft it. Since it has ceased producing big crops, I figured it was time.
If it re-sprouts from the roots, which chestnuts often do, I'll put a different variety on there next spring.
