Saddleman/revzilla, the saga continues

The bottom line is this, this is the hardest seat Ive ever sat on in all 40 of my years of riding motorcycles. Saddleman not only reached out to me, but offered ways they could make me happy with the seat. In hind sight, I had no reasonable expectation that saddleman would refund me money that I hadn’t payed to them. As a final effort to get revzilla to take this seat back, I spoke with management and they agreed to meet me halfway and issue me store credit. I think that’s reasonable. I do think that they should loosen the parameters in which they determine what is an appropriate amount of miles under which they would take a return, or at the very least make it know at what mileage they would not consider a return. I had initially told the lady in customer service that I had around 1000 miles on it but post conversation, I checked my mileage on the bike and I had less than 700. Still to many miles according to management. I attempted to mail him down to a specific mileage but he averted answering the question handily. I believe it to be some arbitrary figure that they choose once you commit to the mileage you think you have put on and I also believe that this arbitrary figure would always be less than the figure you give them. I will ship this seat back to revzilla and they will inspect it. I’ll keep you posted.
