Purple Finches Find a Way to Our Feeders. !!FIRST TIME VISITOR!!

Purple finches, the birds dubbed "sparrows dipped in raspberry juice", aren't really purple, but more of a rose color. They look similar to House Finches, but Purple finches have much more extensive red extending on the crown, nape, back, chest, cheeks, and flanks. Of course, the females are not vibrant like the males and have similar colors as the female House finch.
