Credit Instagram's @news.rebel for this excerpt from the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance March 2022 inquest into irregularities of the "Invocation of the Emergencies Act and related measures".

Here, Abbotsford BC Conservative MP Ed Fast [0] questions two American executives of the GoFundMe corporation over oddities in the bust-up of the Great Canadian Freedom Convoy, that required the Emergencies Act to be invoked for the first time ever over a peaceful Ottawa assembly of truckers.

Fast elicits testimony from the executives that the largest donation was in the amount of $30,000 and this was from a Canadian. It was the Trudeau government's position that Canada was being destabilized by a foreign power, and they used this ruthlessly to ram home their agenda. The executives, Juan Benitez [1] and Kim Wilford [2] put the lie to this laughable government claim.

That Justin Trudeau is a master manipulator is no secret to calm observers of Canadian political life. Here he shows his true colours once again, with a shameless claim that doesn't stand up to clinical examination in the light of day. Whether Canadians will evict him from office is another matter entirely. Based on past history, we are not hopeful.
