Nearly 43 000 civilians were rescued from Mariupol by DPR People's Militia and Russian Army

On March 17 DPR People's Militia and Russian Armed Forces Managed to liberate significant part of the Mariupol.

Almost 43 000 residents evacuated from Mariupol in a day (https://t.me/rossaprimavera_int/1301). Before that less than several thousands managed to flee during several weeks.
