The Monkey's In the Groove But He Won't Dance For Free

The group known as Sage and Ray Parker, Jr. get together today and the end result is the Segue City Special as we wind down the work week. We're off to the beach in search of sun, fun, surf and turf while the Mayor gets to come in over the weekend and clean up after us and do his "hoodoo voodoo" thing. Still no word on his big announcement but we're already bummed over Freddie Freeman leaving the Braves to play for the Dodgers... hope for his sake this isn't an extension of Albert Pujols story...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there's hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
