Panorama Point - Highest Point of Nebraska! | Tri-State Marker WY/CO/NE

On a Quest to reach the highest geographical points of all 50 states of the USA, today I knock off Panorama Point - the Highest Natural Peak of Nebraska! At 5,424 feet above sea level, Panorama Point ranks as the 20th highest peak out of the 50 states (which is pretty wild since it's a rolling prairie land and no prominent hill or peak).

Panorama Point is located on the High Point Bison Ranch which is private land so you have to pay a $3 entry fee (per person). They also have a buffalo herd on the site so you must travel to the high point by car, they do not want people hiking to the location. I, myself did not see the buffalo herd the day I visited.

I also venture to the Tri-state marker which is located about a mile away from the Nebraska high point. A small monument parks the exact point where the states of Wyoming, Colorado, and Nebraska meet. This was rather hard to find so those daring will need an suv/truck with good tires and be prepared to drive around cow herds. (not recommended in rainy weather as the roads will be muddy).

Closing Song: Explorer's Theme written and composed by me on piano.
