Best of the Rest: Shimano Zodias 2020

The 2020 ICast New Product Showcase "Best of Category" winners were announced in mid-July, and can be seen on fishing media outlets nationwide. But, what about those products that didn't win? Here is our "Best of the Rest" series where we will be highlighting 12 new products that didn't garner awards, but would nonetheless be great assets to your fishing arsenal.

Product Showcase #3: Shimano Zodias 2020

The grip of Shimano’s relaunched Zodias rod gives you more
direct contact with the blank, so you are more likely to feel vibrations from underwater structure, lure action or fish. The Zodias still sports Hi-Power X technology, which in simple terms reduces the rod’s twisting, for more accurate casts and pulling power. By wrapping carbon tape up and down the rod, butt to tip, and including a CI4+ reel seat, the rod has the ultimate in sensitivity, and its energy is focused in a single direction.
