Keeping a Proper Perspective

How can we as Christians keep a proper perspective in these last of the last days? How can we be a light in the darkness, and advance the kingdom of God in a relevant and timely way without compromise?
In Acts 17, we have Paul as an example of engaging the culture in a way that brings conviction to the hearer as well as treating all with honor and value.
