Social Emotional Learning Infiltrates Leavenworth Schools

On Monday, March 14, over the objections of a number of parents, despite warnings from member Vanessa Reid, and without even having seen the material, the Leavenworth School Board adopted a new social emotional learning curriculum called Character Strong, developed by a company out of Washington that is overtly pro-critical race theory. Meanwhile, the school board has still refused to address the shocking content that has been uncovered in the school in the last month.
