NASA, BEYER'S SCIENCE COMMITTEE IS COVERING OUR BIOGENESIS BETS

In 2020, even though only six percent of baccalaureate graduates elect a major in biology, in the majority voted for science, in an unprecedented pandemic that scientist admitted had even them befuddled, while majority of Democrats and Republicans were confident that they understood the science. And now, pressing on, throwing caution to the wind on the former public health guidance, which some news reports suggest may exacerbate a situation with over six million fatalities worldwide, passions turn to Eastern Europe and a war even the Pope wants to end, for the love of God, which did not prevent the church doors from closing and clergy from declaring themselves nonessential during times historically associated with fear, confusion and despair, but marching in the streets, during a pandemic, screaming for razing century old statues, justice and black lives matter for dead Negro check kiters, and, of course, doing the duty to vote, like democracy depends upon it, because the elections must go on, even if human choices have not worked well for us against a virus that isn't stupid.

Would it have made perfect sense, like in the Ebola outbreak, to use trace contacts as an efficient and effective methodology for case identification to prevent and control the spread of an allegedly highly contagious disease with a validated less than five percent secondary attack? Four times to low to validate the existence of a disease being transmitted from person to person, prompting the WHO to actually state "it is not clear whether this correlates with the presence of an infectious disease"? Twelve times too low to set off a super spreader event at these alleged hotbeds of infection from where the nation's only physician serving as a state governor had heard reports? Yes, spies amongst sitting amongst them and tattletaling on the church, for the love of God.

So, why not spend "billions and billions" casting gazes at the stars and listening for a signal from some advanced civilization in the stars who has yet to master the telephone or email? Why not send out probes to try to find water, the sine qua non for biogenesis, before understanding exactly how it got here on earth for us to attempt to develop a reasonably calculated plan as to how such conditions may have been replicated to put water there, too? Ask Doc Feyman, who only bets when he's wagering with somebody else's money! And, I follow the science!
