Chris' Story: How A Health Clinic In The USA Saved His Life

We speak with Chris Vander Doelen from Harrow, Ontario about how his health experience in Los Angeles saved his life.

Chris was diagnosed with prostate cancer and required a special PET scan to locate his growing tumor. However, this specialized scan was not available in Canada, so Chris had to travel to a hospital in Los Angeles in the United States.

His story is another example of the thousands of Canadians who travel abroad every year to receive health care.
