Russia drafting thousands in Syria for Ukraine war: Monitor

BEIRUT – A war monitor said Tuesday that Russia has compiled a list of 40,000 Syrian army and associated militia soldiers who will be put on standby for deployment in Ukraine (Mar 15).
Last week, the Kremlin announced that volunteers from all around the world, including Syria, were welcome to fight with the Russian army in Ukraine.
