Live Broadcast Protester Faces up to 15 years in Prison. Channel One editor Marina Ovsyannikova could face a lengthy spell behind bars after her anti-Ukraine operation protest during a live broadcast under new laws banning disinformation.

Ovsyannikova has been arrested by authorities and faces charges of 'discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation' without verifable facts for which the maximum sentence is 15 years in prison.
