Diary of a Lover Spurned

Well today's Segue City Special is different. It's all about love spurned. We threw in the Brooklyn Bridge song because the Mayor used to sing that song when he was in a band in high school - The One Way Experience... the only way out for him was to become a disc jockey, but then again everybody was telling him that he had a face for radio... At least we didn't talk about how his mother made him take accordion lessons when he was young... of course now he could be a god in Tejano in Texas if he still played...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there's hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
