140 foreign citizens evacuated from Kherson to the Crimean peninsula

At least 140 foreign citizens were evacuated from Ukraine's Kherson region to Armyansk in Crimea, the Russian Ministry of Defense informed on Sunday.

Evacuees from Turkey, US, India, Vietnam, Bulgaria and other countries were transported to Russia on buses following related requests from their embassies and personal applications.

"There are foreigners, citizens of Turkey and other countries here. We were all put on buses, and we all came here safely", said a Turkish evacuee Mahmud.
