FFXIV Endwalker MSQ 55- Hope Upon a Flower

I loved everything about this quest. Best surprise ever! I want to do this entire quest-line over again. That first look at both of them and hearing his voice.

We cannot unmake the sorrow and suffering yet to come...that sucks. And one more sacrifices himself to make a path forward. Though I suppose it allows Elidibus peace to be able to finally die and be with his brethren.

I found it interesting that in Greek Elpis is the personification and spirit of hope. She is depicted as a young woman who usually carried flower or a cornucopia. The Greeks considered hope as not a god but an extension of suffering.

I love how we yell not only greetings but obscenities as we explore and try to get people's attention.

He is so dramatic. I love it. And then looking over at us and completely pretending to not see us...

Well if anyone actually needs anymore confirmation as to who we truly are. Our souls are almost identical to Azem's soul. Not completely because we still lack a few pieces of our soul to make us whole.
14 pieces. We have 1 base+7 rejoinings+ 1 Ardbert=9/14 more than half of our soul. Enough for them to recognize us. :)

We are the spitting image of our past selves. I am guessing in my character's case minus the ears and tail. It is alluded to that we are trouble makers at least in Emet's eyes. Which made me smile.

I can picture us as Azem and the mischief we get into with Hythlodaeus causing poor Hades unending drama and grief. He is that friend that loves us anyways regardless of our antics it seems.
