Rachel from the Med Trailer is from Texas but tagged along with Randy Jackson of Haines, Alaska to meet his senator, Dan Sullivan. She took time away from her duties but was still well represented by a team of 17-18 volunteers back at the trailer.

Randy notes that Brian would have loved to livestream the meeting to We the People but that wasn't allowed. So, the sit-down couldn't be an official "People's Convoy" event. Brian still offered to sit in for moral support as just another trucker but Randy opted to handle it on his own, constituent to senator, one-on-one the way it's supposed to be. Randy was still there to "represent the voices that are out here today."

He brought back two main takeaways but the main thing was "If you have an ability to contact your congressman, do so."

He also gave a big shout out to everyone who melted down Dan Sullivan's phone lines. The "gave him an earful for not going on livestream with us."

"It's real hard to get a word in edgewise with a professional politician but Rachel and I did our part." They passed along We the People's two objectives. More importantly, they gave Senator Sullivan a face to "put with this group here."

Everyone should identify their representatives and "put in that effort. Get on the phone, get on the email, light them up. Let them know 'we're here.'" All politicians are invited to drop in anytime. Actions speak louder than words.

The run around the beltway that day was "awesome." He was thankful for the convoy literally "backing us up today." The convoy let the cars and 4-wheelers roll out first because it's We the People in this protest, not just truckers.

In defense of Senator Sullivan, Randy pointed out that the congressman does support the convoy. He's also been vocal on the Senate floor pushing to repeal the Emergency Powers act.

He's against the omnibus bill and will "vote no on that crap." If they don't stand up strong, listening to your voices, then they're out.

Rachel had a bunch of things to say of her own, as a medical professional on the front lines. He made it clear he represents Alaska not Texas but this affects everyone. Especially exemptions for medical care workers. They made it through a whole year of covid without any protection, now they're getting fired. Worse, they can't even get new jobs.

What she has to say about her attempt to get a religious exemption is appalling. We need to educate ourselves on the law and stick with it. She emphasized the vaccine injuries and deaths.

Your calls work. When they left they were asked "please tell everyone to stop calling." The senator was out of voicemail space.

Dr. Paul Alexander wants to lock up everyone from Fauci on down. He can't say the word "cojones" but thanks Ted Cruz for having a pair for coming down. He wrapped up the rest of the meeting with great info and tomorrow is scheduled for a weather day.
