Indian Pipe or Ghost Plant!

These plants are not a fungus.
They are a plant that uses nutrients in the soil to make food,
as they have no chlorophyll.
They grow where there are Beech and Pine trees,
and mushrooms from the Russulaceae Family.
The nutrients from the mushrooms, and the trees,
transfers to the Indian Pipe Plant.
This one was just a few steps from the Cabin steps.
There is another one at the Garage Site.
You can make a tincture from this plant, a mild pain reliever,
and sedative, which I will be attempting soon.
Do not ingest any wild plant or tincture,
unless you know what you are doing!
Always use caution!
