Max discusses 3 ways to improve democracy:
1. Participatory Budgeting - let the public vote on how parts of our government budget are spent.
2. Citizen's Assembly - transparently select a representative cross-section of the public, train them on how to have good debate, prepare them to speak about the issues, and come to together to publicly discuss and solutions to problems to be recognized by and presented to the government for action.
3. Online consensus forming - call on the government to use digital mediums to have people set policy priorities and directly vote on issues in certain cases.
