Washington deserves a sales tax cut

Going in to the 2022 legislative session, Washington state had record surplus tax revenue amounting to more than $10.5 billion! WA hadn't seen a sales tax rate reduction since 1982 and with taxpayers reeling from COVID-related hardships and mounting inflation, the case for a tax cut was overwhelming. We didn't get it. But we should have. And we still should. This video explains why.
