International Women’s Day has been ‘hijacked by corporates’: Joe Hildebrand

International Women’s Day has been “hijacked by corporates,” according to Sky News host Joe Hildebrand.
Mr Hildebrand discussed the issue with Agenda C’s Managing Director Parnell Palme McGuinness.
Ms McGuiness pointed out that Aurora Ventures, an enterprise focused on social and economic change, has created a platform for IWD that includes producing an annual campaign theme and merchandise each year.
“They’ve just taken this big cause, appropriated it, and everyone’s just going with it,” she said.
