Hot Rods/Race Cars/Corvettes- The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY.

The next stop on my journey last fall, the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. Harley Earl designed the first Corvette Sports Car in the 50s. Growing up, my parents were enthusiasts and we worked our way through 3 of them growing up. The "dome" is famous for a sink hole that swallowed 8 vette's in 2014. It was filled in and the cars that were worth over some millions of dollars that fell in are on display in the "dome". The is one of Dale Earnhardt's #3 Nascar's as well as a vette he drove in a 24 hr race with Dale Jr. Old vettes, new vettes, and some mean muscle cars fill up the place. Its a great stop just off I 65 in Bowling Green Ky.
