Out of the darkness...comes the Knight | Batman The Dark Knight (2008) Film Explained

Set soon after the occasions of Batman Begins (2005), Batman, Lieutenant James Gordon, and new District Attorney Harvey Dent effectively start to gather together the lawbreakers that plague Gotham City, until a puzzling and vicious crook engineer referred to just as "The Joker" shows up in Gotham, making another flood of tumult. Batman's battle against The Joker turns out to be profoundly private, constraining him to "stand up to all that he accepts" and work on his innovation to stop him. A circle of drama creates between Bruce Wayne, Dent, and Rachel Dawes.
