When it comes to talking about important superhero films it doesn't get any bigger than the granddaddy of them all - Superman: The Movie (1978). This movie revolutionized the way we looked at and experience superheroes. What made Superman special from the get go was it took the material serious, but it also remembered to still have fun and excitement to it. And still to this day Superman the movie's greatest contribution is it proved it was possible to make a big budget blockbuster based on a superhero comic book!

Come join us as we unpack this legendary film. As we tackle Marlon Brando's acting choices and his version of pronouncing Superman's home planet as "Kryptun". We also unravel the moustache war between Gene Hackman and Richard Donner and how it relates to Lex Luthor wearing toupees in the film. And finally, the brilliance in casting an unknown actor at the time - Christopher Reeves in the title role, and why he remains still to this day the best live action Superman!!!!
