Mindfulness Peaceful Relaxing Music for Deep Sleep (JellyFish)
The Jellyfish
Jellyfish have long, thin bodies and tentacles. They are typically found in warm tropical waters. "Jellyfish" comes from the Latin word "gelidus" which means cold. Jellyfish are not cold-blooded like reptiles and amphibians. To regulate their temperature, they use countercurrent heat exchange. They have no blood, so they cannot regulate their body temperature. This is how they get their name.
They are very complex creatures. It has many distinct parts. It has a mouth, stomach, eyes, heart, brain, nervous system, and many other organs. Most of its organs are in the tentacles. The tentacles are the most important part of the jellyfish. Each tentacle can be up to six feet long!
"Cytophore" is a gelatinous substance that makes up the tentacles. Tentacles are used for catching food, finding mates, and protecting jellyfish from predators. Jellyfish use tentacles to catch food. They can extend or retract them. Tentacles trap the food on sticky surfaces when extended. Sensors on the tentacles also detect light, chemicals, and water currents. Jellyfish use tentacles to find food.
Jellyfish use their tentacles to find a mate. The jellyfish sends chemical signals through its tentacles when it wants to mate. The signals attract male jellyfish who release sperm into the female jellyfish. The jellyfish lays eggs in the ocean after mating. They are hermaphrodites. They have both male and female reproductive organs. Jellyfish develop-eggs within. They release the eggs into the ocean. The eggs hatch and the larvae live in the ocean before becoming adults.
The jellyfish do not harm humans. It is not dangerous to people. It is not even harmful to pets. However, it is extremely dangerous to fish. Jellyfish can eat a lot of fish. They can eat up to twenty-five pounds of fish per day!
They are sometimes called "sea spiders". Although they look like spiders, they are not. They are cnidarians. Cnidarians include corals, sea anemones, and jellyfish.
Jellyfish have been around for millions of years. Scientists believe that the ancient Egyptians first discovered them. Aristotle first described them. They have been known to be around since prehistoric times. They have fascinating creature
Meditation - what is it?
Meditation: A Brief History
The French theorist Michel de Montaigne once said, "The greatest thing in the world is the ability to belong to oneself." This has never been truer than in our modern, fast-paced world. With so many demands on our time and mind, it takes a mindful effort to take a minute to explore who we truly are.
A Short Article on Meditation: How Old is it? The answer to that question is more complex than you might expect. Numerous research studies, books, and schools of meditation describe the 'olden tradition’ but defining the length of time meditation has been practiced depends on how you define the term (Where did meditation originate).
There are more schools of thought that situate the origins of meditation within a structured set of practices and strategies based on artifacts and recommendations from Eastern nations. Here are the two primary schools of thought and how far back they go. In a few of the oldest composed records from around 1500 BCE, the practice of Dhyana or Jana is referenced as training the mind, which is often translated as meditation.
Meditation music was created by whom?
Composers such as John Cage, Stuart Dempster, Pauline Oliveros, Terry Riley, La Monte Young, and Lawrence Ball began combining meditation techniques and concepts with music in the 20th century.
Using meditation music for relaxing can produce a deep state of relaxation while removing thoughts that could be cluttering your mind and causing stress and anxiety.
In addition, it reduces stress, improves your mood, and slows your breathing. Over time, it provides benefits such as calming the mind and body while building resilience to stress and anxiety. Anxiety can be relieved, and sleep can be achieved through music therapy. Mindfulness Music is an effective way to fall asleep.
