[Dangerous Thoughts] Celebrity Histrionics

Carter hosts a (mostly) Ukraine-free episode of Dangerous Thoughts. He begins by reviewing what one might think of Florida bill "HB 1557: Parental Rights in Education" based solely on the near ubiquitous characterization of it as a "Don't Say Gay" bill by leftist mainstream celebrities and politicians. Then he reads the bill and reveals just how much misinformation about it has been normalized. Later in the program, he traces the origin of the lies about the bill to Florida Representative Carlos G. Smith. Next, he watches some representative clips from Jeffrey Younger's attempted speech at the University of North Texas and concludes that maybe Texas isn't quite ready for secession yet after all. Then he tackles the "Sex Ed Summer Camp" expose by Tony Kinnett and Mia Cathell, and contemplates the parental responsibility of imbuing children with morals and not outsourcing the job to someone else. Finally, he explains why the popular game "Wordle" is a bit of a black pill, and discusses the importance of acting in ways that support psychological health.
