War changes everything, and when it happens almost overnight as it has in Russia's invasion of Ukraine, everyone – men, women and children – must immediately adapt.

But as many Ukrainians are stepping up to defend their country against Russia, the courage and power of Ukrainian women are also being celebrated on the International Women's Day.
