WNBA Star Brittney Griner Detained in Russia

Since 2015, Brittney Griner has been traveling to Russia in the offseason to play basketball. It’s a common practice for WNBA players, who stand to make substantially more money than they do playing in the states. But sometime in February, she was detained at an airport near Moscow, when Russian Federal Customs Officers say they found hashish oil in her luggage.
