New York City Demonstrators March through Manhattan to Protest Continuing Vaccine and Mask Mandates

On March 7, 2022, protesters gathered in front of New York's City Hall to voice their opposition to vaccine and mask mandates, as well as vaccine passports.

Vaccine mandates requiring proof of vaccination for indoor dining, entertainment and gym use were lifted on this date, but mandates requiring a COVID-19 vaccine for many employees in New York City remain in place. Mask mandates for most public school children and employees were also lifted, but the mandate for children younger than five years old is still in effect

After the City Hall rally, the protesters marched from City Hall to Union Square, and then on to the headquarters of the World Economic Forum on 45th Street for another rally.
