Nobel Prize

It's a great honor to be awarded the Nobel Prize.

In 1895, the Nobel Prize was established in memory of the Swedish inventor and philanthropist Alfred Nobel, who had died the previous year.

Since the Nobel Prize was first awarded in 1901, the award has been given to over 800 people.

The Nobel Prize is awarded in five different categories: Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Literature and Peace.
