As the Ukraine war rages, Blinken completes his Baltic assurance tour.

TALLINN, Estonia (March 8) – US Secretary of State Antony Blinken completed the final stage of a short tour of the three Baltic states on Tuesday (March 8), aimed at assuring the former Soviet republics that NATO will ensure their security as Russia's war with Ukraine continues apace.
Blinken was meeting with senior Estonian officials in Tallinn a day after Lithuania and Latvia appealed for increased support and a larger US and NATO force presence to discourage a feared Russian intervention.
