WNBA "Star" Brittney Griner Detained in Russia | Calvin Ridley Suspended for Gambling on NFL Games

The WNBA's Biggest Star (lol) Brittney Griner was detained in a Russian Airport for transporting illegal material. While it's not a big deal and she has been there numerous times, it's still illegal and she's lucky she didn't end up in the Gulag. Dumbass.

Calvin Ridley, Atlanta Falcons Wide Receiver, is suspended by the NFL indefinitely for gambling on games. Even though he bet on the Falcons to win and he did not have a direct hand in the outcome of the game, it is still very much against the league policy. A monumentally stupid decision that will see Ridley eligible to be reinstated no earlier than February 2023.
