UK Should Frack Away During An Energy Crisis

As the energy crisis takes a grip in the UK and Europe, why is the moratorium on Shale Gas Fracking still in play? UK energy independency or stock piling from it's own resources seems like common sense, but with the net zero agenda being led by Boris Johnson, he's unlikely to change tact unless he's under severe pressure.
