Horrific scenes in battle for Kyiv as families killed fleeing Russian onslaught - BBC News

As Russian forces close in on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv, families have been fleeing for their lives as missiles rain down on the outskirts of the city.

In the town of Irpin, just 20 kilometres from the centre of Kyiv, Russian shelling has claimed many lives, including families and children, as they fled their homes in an attempt to escape the onslaught.
