2 Corinthians 5:17

1. The ___________ Scope of the Promise.

• Is “in Christ” …That you are a reborn microcosm belonging to the eschatological macrocosm of the new heavens and the new earth.
• In Christ we have: assurance of forgiveness of sins, acceptance in the beloved by the Father, of the future because of the resurrection, inheritance as heirs to the begotten Son of God, participation in the divine nature, knowing the truth.
3. The ___________ That He Makes.
• The new creation is His workmanship
• It is created to do good works
• It has been brought close to God
• It is a habitation of God, by the Holy Spirit.
4. The ___________ That is Necessary.
• The old things are passed away
• We are no longer alive to sin (Rom 6:7)
• We are no longer willing to live by sins principals
• We are no longer condemned to death by sin
5. The ____________ of New Life in Christ
• A new way of living, a new way of talking, a new way of loving, and a new way of serving.
