Leadership Lessons from the Army

I'm joined today by a very special guest, my Old Man a.k.a. Tom, who served in the Army for 14 years overseas in Germany, Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm, and South Korea, and made his way through the ranks to E-5 (Sergeant). Before speaking about his leadership experience he tells us about what got him into the Army and the nature of his job in the motor pool.

I thought about editing this episode down to just our leadership discussion but decided it would help if I left in the conversation leading up to it to provide additional context (but it means you will have to watch us fumble with his phone for a bit).

Pictured in the thumbnail is a M578 light recovery vehicle, one of the many vehicles he worked on during his time as a mechanic in the Army.
