Bilicki Joins Spire, Almirola Announces Retirement

Today, news broke that Josh Bilicki would join Spire Motorsports for the "majority" of the 2022 season in the 77 car. Most of Bilicki's sponsors will follow him to Spire. Majority sponsorship will come from Zeigler Automotive Group.

Thisbwas followed by major news that Aric Almirola would retire at the end of the 2022 season. Almirola said that being a dad is now the priority. This comes a couple days after Ryan Preece was announced as being hired as a reserve driver for SHR, and many saw Preece as a replacement for Kevin Harvick. Preece now could be taking over the 10 following Almirola's retirement.
