The Ends - Part 10

The lesson on March 6, 2022 was part 10 of “The Ends” study. In this lesson we quickly review what was taught last regarding the resurrection of the dead where we learned that there are different glories for spiritual bodies. There is a principle that was identified in Corinthians in relation to comparing the glory of our Earthly body and our resurrection body. Our resurrection body will be immortal and be designed to function in whatever realm God puts us in. We reviewed how the Old Covenant had glory but it did not compare to the glory of the New Covenant. Today’s lesson focused on the Greek word “To Think” (28271 φρονέω impf. ἐφρόνουν; fut. φρονήσω;). A concordance was provided for φρονέω =“to think, to mind” (Matt. 16:23; Mk. 8:33; Acts 28:22; Rom. 8:5; 12:3, 16; 14:6; 15:5; 1 Cor. 4:6; 13:11; 2 Cor. 13:11; Gal. 5:10; Phil. 1:7; 2:2, 5; 3:15-16, 19; 4:2, 10; Col. 3:2) where we find a focus in Romans (5 occurrences) and Philippians (8 occurrences). We were shown that there is a parallel between Hebrews and Philippians where both were pursing perfection in two different callings (Hebrews was in Acts, Philippians was post-Acts in The Mystery). We looked intently at Hebrews 10:39 to learn about perdition as opposed to “saving of the soul”. In the end, we focused on the resurrection out from among the dead ones in Philippians 3:11 KJV (Lk. 20:35; Acts 4:2; 26:23; Rom. 1:4; 1 Cor. 15:12; Heb. 11:35; 1 Pet. 1:3) The scripture reading was from Hebrews 10:37-39 KJV
