Ukrainian forces carry out missile drills as President Zelenskyy meets troops

UKRAINIAN forces carry out explosive missile drills and tank exercises as President Zelenskyy arrives to meet with troops as country braces for war.

The drill, part of command-staff exercise Zametil 2022 (Blizzard 2022), focused on practicing the management of land forces deployment during combat operations.

Colonel Andriy Melnik, one of the commanders at Rivne training ground said the troops practiced with a wide range of weapons.

"We are using the whole spectrum of weaponry available to the commanders of the land troops, artillery, tanks, armoured vehicles, anti-tank rockets, guns," he said.
