The Story- The Battle Begins

How could Joshua along with a marching band and a prostitute, have incredible courage to conquer Jericho? The reason is because Joshua recognized that God was preparing him all along for the battle he would eventually fight. True courage speaks of what has not yet happened as if it already has. Remember that courage is not the absence of fear but moving forward despite fear. And what it all comes down to is focusing on God's bigness rather than our smallness.
