Abandoned Bank in Gary Indiana

Today, we explored the abandoned American State Bank in Gary, IN. The bank started business in 1901. I read that the bank failed because of the great depression causing the owner to commit suicide. The bank was last used in the late 90s by the City of Gary as some kind of admin space. Which would explain the legal paperwork, youth services, and all the documents laying around.
