Naturally, the focus remains on Ukraine tonight. A nuclear power plant that provides 25% of Ukraine's electricity is on fire as a result of shelling during a battle. By the time I am writing this, the fire is out and the plant is secure (so sayeth the media).
Tucker goes hard after the IIC regime and the vice Idiot in particular. This birthing person is a know-nothing (well, maybe not nothing...) that is so unserious that it buggers belief. After his expose, Clay Travis from Outkick joins Tucker to discuss just how screwed we are.
JD Vance kicked the hornet's nest last week, giving his opinion that his concern about a regional conflict between two sides of long-standing ethnic and religious factions isn't his primary concern. Mark Levine is not happy with him, Sean Hannity is not happy with him, but folks, if you're opinion is running afoul of Lindsay Graham's opinion, you are probably on the right side of the (foreign policy) issue. Lindsay Graham never saw a war he didn't want us neck deep in and this one is no different. I was all about Josh Mandel in Ohio, but I am going to have to go see what his opinion on this foreign war is. He is endorsed by Mark Levine, so I expect he would like to see us involved.
Lori Lightfoot update: She's a POS. We knew that of course, but we get some details from Ray Stevens, a Chicago radio host discusses some examples.
Next, body cam footage (I saw the entire 16 minute video yesterday) of a congressional candidate, Martin Hyde (R-Sarasota). He sucked up his courage, made a real apology and joined Tucker to defend himself. He has a smart mouth and a bad temper (his description). He did a good job digging himself out of the hole he made for himself, but...he's screwed.
Ron Desantis update: accused of bullying students about masks. Let's be honest. This was a planned hit by the segment producers, but I don't expect it to work. Just to be clear: Telling kids that they don't have to wear masks because they don't work (no adult was wearing masks and there is no mask mandate) is bullying, but kicking them out of school if they don't wear masks is not bullying? Yeah, but no.
VDH joins Tucker to discuss Putin's actions and perhaps his mindset. I am not a big fan of mind-readers, but I always respect VDH's opinion. He believes that our memories are short and in a relatively short time we will forget this and be happily buying Russian oil again. In case you missed it, it recently came out that Russia has financed the Green Energy propaganda machine for years. This was a great investment. By pushing Quixotic Green Energy, they made Europe dependent on Russian Oil and Gas. Germany is waking up to this and is now going to meet their NATO financing commitments, but this is years too late.
