Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones on whether Amari Cooper to be on the roster in 2022: “It’s too early for me to address that.” Conversations are ongoing, he added. Pay cut on the table? “I don’t want to address any of that as far as the details of any contract.”

Jones also on possibly using the franchise tag on an impending free agent: “We haven’t ruled out. That’s been in the strategy meetings.” Jones did not specify candidates, although DE Randy Gregory and TE Dalton Schultz could draw consideration.
