Russia-Ukraine war: Footage reveals scale of destruction in Kharkiv as 21 reported dead

The advance of Russian troops in Kharkiv has been stopped, according to a Ukrainian official, who said Russia has responded by shelling the city with heavy rocket fire and air attacks.

New footage from Ukraine's second city showed destruction and debris on the streets in the area near the City Council.

"Kharkiv today is the Stalingrad of the 21st century," said Oleksiy Arestovich, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
