The President of Ukraine had a video call with the members of the Parliament.

“At the moment we are fighting to survive and this is our significant motivation now. Also, we are still fighting to be equal part of Europe. Today, we are showing that we are here. The European Union will be stronger with us. Ukraine will be lonely without you. We proved our power, proved that we are like you. Prove us that you are with us, that you are not leaving us. Prove that you are really Europeans and then, life will defend death and light will defeat darkness”.

After the speech of the Ukrainian president, the parliament gave standing applause. Before that, on the 28th of February, Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed the application for the Ukrainian membership in the European Union. The Parliament accepted it and the special procedure has started.

In the suburbs of Kyiv, Vyshhorod, a group of Russian helicopters was stopped by the Ukrainian military near the Kyiv Reservoir. The Ukrainian military managed to destroy two aircraft.
