In Memory Of Dennis Plett

A convoy is slow rolling into Steinbach for Saturday, March 5th, 2022 in loving memory of Dennis Plett, and to express grievances against unlawful mandates in retirement homes and healthcare settings.

Dennis Plett, a believer, beloved father, husband, trucker, friend, and hero tragically passed away in "medical solitary confinement" in Ste. Anne Hospital, MB on Monday, February 21st, 2022. Staff refused Dennis' loved ones entry to the hospital due to mandates. Dennis' mother, a resident in a retirement home, has also been told she can't attend her son's funeral because of restrictions.

On February 14th, 2022, supporters of the Freedom Convoy, Trista and Allison approached Dennis' truck parked on Albert St in Downtown Ottawa after seeing a Bible verse written on the window. Dennis expressed how he hadn't been feeling well and was missing his family. To lift his spirits, Trista and Dennis sang Amazing Grace together in prayer. The interaction was filmed for a video that would eventually be viewed worldwide and touch the hearts of all who watched. Dennis dedicated the weeks before his passing holding the line for our country in Ottawa, fighting for the same freedoms that would have allowed his family to be with him in the hospital.

The convoy will arrive as early as Friday, March 4th, 2022 at 25055 Settlers Rd, Dugald, MB. Deacon's Corner Highway 1. There will be a viewing from 6:30-8:30pm at Cornerstone Church. 290 First St, Steinbach, MB.

A slow roll will take place from Deacon's Corner to Cornerstone Church on Saturday, March 5th, 2022. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral service from 10:30-11:30am with the service beginning at 11:30am. Viewing and services are open to the public. The funeral will be livestreamed on YouTube at https://youtube.com/c/RedneckLifestyle.

Decorating vehicles with loving signs, Bible verses, Canadian flags, etc is encouraged. Please avoid profanity.

A Celebration of Life festival to honour Dennis has been organized following the services. This event will continue for several days with sermons, live music, stories, BBQ and bonfires. It will also be in protest of mandates and "medical solitary confinement", and in hopes to bring the community together in love and unity as a Revival of Steinbach.

For those who are unable to make it to Steinbach, a minute of silence in honour of Dennis, followed by the playing of "I'll Fly Away" by Alan Jackson, will be held nationwide at 11:30am on Saturday, March 5th, 2022.
