Romania's top soccer club, Steaua Bucharest, bans VAXXED athletes from playing!

The club's owner, Gigi Becali, correctly claims vaxxed lose strength. He also says correctly that they are more likely to die.

The following article in The Sun is a prime example of bias and propaganda, and it's also hilarious:

They start with Becali's "bizarre" claim which is not bizarre at all. Then they reference Romania's national vaccine information/propaganda group RO Vaccinare, who say:

"Vaccinated footballers do NOT lose their strength after being vaccinated against Covid-19! From a medical and scientific point of view, there are no studies that would support a singularity like the one recently promoted on Facebook accounts in Romania."

It may be true that there are no (published) studies that show vaxxed athletes lose strength, because there have been no such studies and/or if there were, they would be censored because the article might cause vaccine hesitancy.

This statement also shows the tendency to ONLY rely on peer-reviewed published scientific evidence and not use your own observations and critical thinking. If it's currently raining but there is no peer-reviewed evidence on this fact, these 'scientists' would dispute that it is currently raining.

The article in The Sun continues by saying Romania's vaccination rate if the lowest in Europe. The country recently needed to destroy a million vaccine doses, because they had expired. This is irrelevant to the story.

"The best way to protect yourself and the ones you love from Covid-19 is by getting jabbed. A string of Covid vaccine studies have shown how effective the jab is to slow the spread of the deadly virus. It's vital to get your life-saving jabs and be fully protected - after the latest research from Pfizer found three doses "neutralises" the mutant variant."

These are all complete lies.

The articles finishes by framing "controversial" Becali as a racist and biased against female athletes. This may or may not be true, but it is irrelevant to the question whether vaxxed athletes lose athletic ability and are more likely to die.
