Prepare Your Cat for Air Travel

1st. Bring your cat to your veterinarian for an assessment on your cat's health condition. Your cat must be fully vaccinated and declared fit for air travel. Some airlines require a health certificate in order to permit certain animals for air travel. 2nd. Purchase an airline-approved carrier. Please make sure that your cat always be able to move around the interior space during air travel. An approved size carrier enables your cat to be as comfortable as possible and avoiding any hiccups during flight.
Third. Encourage your cat to spend time inside its carrier. Some favorite toys, enough food treats and drinking water, and also a fluffy blanket will be a big help for your cat throughout your flight.
4th. Treat your cat for some car rides. This is to help your cat to get familiar with motions and sudden movements inside vehicles.
5th. Expose your cat to outdoor noises frequently. In this situation, bring your cat to airport terminal area and also the passenger check-in area on several occasions.This is to reduce the anxiety of your cat while being in crowded places and during flight.
